Simon Diggelmann

Boasting more than 20 years of experience in the aviation industry, Simon has held pivotal senior management roles in aircraft sales, aviation consulting, and aircraft management. His recent focus has been on shaping the aviation landscape in the Asia Pacific, where, over the last five years, he has successfully acquired and sold corporate jets and regional airliners and played a key role in establishing a 121 Air Operator Certificate for a prominent business aviation company in Hong Kong. He furthermore consulted various Asian family offices, law firms, banks and a sovereign wealth fund on aviation matters.

Before his ventures in Asia, Simon played a crucial role in managing an aviation consulting firm in Europe. His leadership in overseeing aircraft portfolios and advising top-tier entities such as the top 100 banks, private equity funds, and governments worldwide left an indelible mark on the industry. Prior to that he managed a fleet of Gulfstream and Bombardier Global aircraft for the biggest aluminum producer in the world at the time.

Simon's journey began in Engineering, where he underwent a comprehensive 4-year training program, eventually becoming a certified avionics engineer. This technical foundation laid the groundwork for his subsequent success in the aviation sector. He holds EASA B1/C Engineers license with Airbus and Gulfstream type ratings, an EASA Airworthiness Review Signature, and various other aviation related trainings

Academically, Simon holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Diploma in Aviation Leasing and Finance from the esteemed Irish Law Society.

His prowess extends beyond aircraft sales as he has previously excelled in delivering large-scale MRO solutions to discerning aircraft owners and operators.

Widely recognized and respected in both the Middle Eastern and European aviation scenes, Kani Saritas has cultivated a reputation as a go-to authority in the industry.
